Pastor Tim began his ministry at Sauk Prairie Evangelical Free Church as Senior Pastor on Sunday, July 22nd, 2007. He most recently served as Pastor of Evangelism and Discipleship at Cary-Grove Evangelical Free Church in Cary, Illinois since October 2001. Prior to serving at Cary-Grove, Pastor Tim served as a pastoral intern at the Village Church of Lincolnshire in Lake Forest, Illinois.

Both Pastor Tim and his wife, Amy, are originally from the state of Michigan. Tim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan (1989). After spending almost six years working in the paper industry, Tim and Amy moved to Deerfield, Illinois where Tim earned his Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (2001). Tim and Amy have two young sons, Sammy and Joey.

Dwight Pulsfus, Associate Pastor

After 28 years of practicing law in the Sauk Prairie area, Dwight was called to full-time ministry in January 2003. He has been a Sauk-Prairie resident for most of his life, and has been very active at SPEFC since 1975. Dwight’s primary responsibilities include family and individual counseling, adult ministries, small groups, evangelism, assimilation and pastoral care. Dwight is married to Joy, and they have one adult son, David. In his spare time, Dwight enjoys reading, travel, hunting, fishing, and just being with people.

Rod Spillane, Youth Pastor/files/Photos/Pastor_Rod.jpg   

Rod became our Youth Pastor in August 1999. Prior to that, he served as a volunteer youth leader at SPEFC for five years and he has been a member of the church since 1989.  Professionally, Rod’s background is in the public schools. He held the position of K-12 school counselor with the Weston School District for 12 years, and just prior to joining the pastoral staff at SPEFC, Rod spent two years as an Associate Principal/Alcohol and Drug Prevention Coordinator at Baraboo High School.  Rod, and his wife Jane have been married since June 5, 1982. They have two children, Patrick, born in 1984 and Timothy, born in 1995.  As a family, they enjoy biking, camping, making snowmen and just hanging out together.
